Terms & Conditions for VEMA Membership. These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) outline the terms and conditions governing the becoming a VEMA member (“Member”) provided by VEMA ITALIA GRUPPO (“VEMA”) to the applicants. By applying for the VEMA Membership, the applicant agrees to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
1. Accuracy of Information: Members must confirm that all information provided during the membership application process is accurate, complete, and up-to-date. It is the member’s responsibility to promptly update any changes to their information. VEMA reserves the right to verify the accuracy of the provided information at any time and may request additional documentation or evidence as necessary.
2. Eligibility and Professional Verification: Membership at VEMA Italia is exclusively open to active professionals in the food and beverage industry. Applicants must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria and can provide satisfactory proof of their professional status upon request. VEMA may require documentation such as professional certifications, licenses, employment verification, or any other relevant evidence to validate the applicant’s professional credentials and/or status.
3. Privacy and Data Protection: VEMA is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of its members’ personal information. All data collected during the membership process will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and VEMA’s Privacy Policy. Members understand and consent to the collection, use, storage, and disclosure of their personal information for the purposes of membership administration and communication.
4. Trust and Compliance: By becoming a member of VEMA, individuals are expressing their trust in the organization and agreeing to comply with all VEMA regulations, policies, and guidelines. Members are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and ethical manner, respecting the principles and values upheld by VEMA.
5. Membership Fee and Renewal: A one-time membership fee (of 150 € + 22% vat) is required to join VEMA Italia. This fee is non-refundable unless the membership application is rejected by VEMA. Once the membership is approved, it does not expire unless the member violates the regulations or fails to meet the eligibility criteria. In the event of membership termination, whether due to non-compliance or inactivity, the member may request reactivation by submitting a new application and paying the applicable renewal fee.
6. VEMA Awards and Recognition: Membership at VEMA is a prerequisite for individuals wishing to apply for VEMA awards and recognition programs. Members in good standing will have the opportunity to participate in these programs and be considered for various industry accolades and honors.
7. Disclaimer: Membership in VEMA is intended to provide professional networking opportunities, industry recognition, and access to relevant resources. However, it does not guarantee any individual or business success in immigration, job applications, or any other endeavors beyond the scope of VEMA’s services. Members acknowledge and accept that their membership alone does not guarantee any specific outcomes or advantages in external contexts.
8. Waiver of Claims and Legal Disputes: By applying for membership at VEMA Italia, the applicant voluntarily waives any rights to claim against or sue VEMA, its directors, officers, employees, agents, or affiliates, for any damages, losses, liabilities, or disputes arising from or related to their membership or involvement with VEMA. This waiver includes, but is not limited to, claims of negligence, breach of contract, defamation, or any other legal cause of action.
9. Immunity from Lawsuits and Prosecution: VEMA, as an independent provider of certification and registration services, shall remain immune from any lawsuit, legal action, or prosecution as a result of the services it provides, including but not limited to certification, registration, awards, recognition, or any related activities. Members acknowledge and agree that VEMA cannot be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from their membership or the services provided by VEMA.
10. Modifications and Termination: VEMA reserves the right to modify, update, or terminate the terms and conditions of membership at any time without prior notice. Members will be notified of any significant changes, and their continued membership will constitute acceptance of the revised terms. In the event of membership termination, whether due to non-compliance, inactivity, or any other reason deemed appropriate by VEMA, the member will be notified accordingly, and any applicable fees paid will not be refunded. By proceeding with the membership application, the applicant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by the above extended terms and conditions.
